WORLD CANCER DAY - 4TH FEBRUARY 2012

On the occasion of World Cancer Day - 4th February 2012, we invite the final year GNM and B.Sc (N) students to DHRC for a quiz on cancer awareness.

As an encouragement to students the winners will get attractive cash prizes,
  • 1st prize- Rs. 2000
  • 2nd prize- Rs. 1500
  • 3rd prize – Rs. 1000 and a consolation prize of Rs 750.
Lunch would be provided for all the participants and they would be given a golden opportunity to see the latest equipments and functioning of India’s first and only NABH accredited cancer hospital.

Last date for registration of candidates for the quiz is 2nd February 2012.

Given that the main aim of the activity is to arouse interest and spread awareness about cancer, before the quiz our team would visit various Nursing colleges/schools in and around Delhi, and deliver a talk on Cancer Awareness. The talk would cover the etiology, pathogenesis, early detection and diagnosis, latest treatment modalities and preventive aspects of cancer. Time required would be 90 minutes.

Last date for the Nursing Schools/Colleges for finalizing the time and date for the cancer awareness talk is 15th January 2012.
