Research & Training

Research and teaching are strong strengths of DHRC, as it not only conducts post-graduate courses viz, DNB in Radiation, Medical and Surgical Oncology, but it also imparts training to residents and paramedicals, who form the support system to this tertiary care center. Various research projects are taken not only related to clinical subjects but also drug trials, biogenetics and oncopathology.

All research projects are under the surveillance of the ethics committee and director-academics. DHRC research is specially focused towards medical oncology. Multiple clinical projects already in progress. Our medical oncologists are involved in many international clinical research trials.

Training DNB in medical oncology after completion of post-graduation in medicine.

DHRC also provides training in different aspects of medical oncology to its residents.

Post Basic Diploma in Oncology Nursing.

Consultants and trainees are encouraged to attend various conferences and workshops to keep them abreast of latest happenings in the field.

All doctors, nurses and technicians are regularly put through training by the academic staff as a part of the training calendar of different departments.
