Elekta Synergy Linear Accelerator with IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SRS, SRT and SBRT is the latest addition in our armamentarium for war against cancer. This is the most advanced form of technology presently available in Delhi (India) to provide the most accurate Radiotherapy with minimum side effects. It is supported by the best Radiotherapy planning systems like Monaco with Monte Carlo Algorithm, ERGO++, CMS Xio and Eclipse.

Technologically advanced Varian Linear Accelerator [CLINAC] with amorphous silicon portal imaging and dynamic multileaf collimator can deliver Intensity Modulated radiation Therapy (IMRT) precisely targeting higher tumoricidal dose to the tumor at the same time keeping the radiation dose lower to the near by normal/critical organs.

18 channel HDR Brachytherapy with microselectron and treatment control station (TCS) from Nucleotron Corporation, Holland is used for Brachytherapy of Gyneccological Cancers, Esophageal Cancer and Interstitial implants of Breast, Head and Neck and Pelvis. It is supported by Plato treatment system for Brachytherapy from Nucleotron Corporation, Holland.

Physics equipment for calibration, survey and Dosimetry are used for Quality assurance.

Mould room - Immobilization casts are made in mould room for patient fixation this being the most important part of modern Radiotherapy. Thermoplastic orfits are used for immobilization in head and neck, chest, limbs and pelvic malignancies.

Department has a team of highly qualified, skilled and trained radiation oncologists, physicists, radiation technologists, mould room assistants. The entire team works together with other departments in a multidisciplinary approach, practicing evidence based medicine and following international treatment protocols, to achieve best treatment outcomes.
