Medical Records are integral part of medical care rendered to the patients and high quality of services of MRD is as pertinent as is high standard of care imparted to the patients by their clinicians because we believe “People forget but Records remember”. The department is committed to meet the requirements of Internal and External Customers through implementation of NABH Standards and Integrated quality and Environmental Management systems of ISO.

Different types of medical records generated by the treating Clinicians of the hospital and managed by MRD are as follows:  

• OPD records
• IPD records
• Birth records
• Death records
• Medico legal records (MLC)
• Others

The MRD department is implementing NABH standard and ISO system, and is working towards CQI.
