INTERNATIONAL ONCOLOGY CONGRESS - 2011

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We are pleased and honored to invite you to the "International Oncology Congress - 2011" being organized by the Dharamshila Hospital and Research Centre on 29th and 30th January 2011.

The Congress is being organized to highlight the Current Scenario for the diagnosis and management of Gastrointestinal Malignancies - including recent trends in the diagnosis and the role of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy in the management of cancers of the stomach, gall bladder, Biliary system, colorectal cancer and palliative management of advanced stage disease.

There will be a live operative workshop on gastric resections and endoscopic intervention in oncology. Eminent speakers and specialists from Japan, U.S.A and all over the country will share with us their expertise and experiences in delivering optimal care to patients with malignancies of the G.I. tract using the newer modalities and protocols. Japan has a very high rate of stomach cancer and their expertise in the diagnosis and management of these is well recognized. The operative workshop will highlight their techniques and experience in this field. The scientific sessions will cover Gall Bladder and Biliary malignancies, Colorectal Cancer, the Dilemma of MUO Abdomen and Gastrointestinal Stromal tumors.

This will be a platform for all doctors involved in the care of patients with G.I. Malignancies and for students to interact with our faculty, who are established leaders in their respective areas of G.I. cancer management.
