Cancer is Curable

Mrs. Mita Mitrudi (Female, 66 years): She arrived with fever and weakness in January 2006; appeared pale and had gum hypertrophy. Her total leukocyte count was raised and her hemoglobin and platelets were very low. Bone marrow aspiration was done. A diagnosis of AML was made. She underwent induction chemotherapy followed by high dose Cytosar. She is now free of disease.
